Library

The Library is¬†here to help! Our librarian, Ms. Sabine, is collecting a list of resources to support literacy and learning on-campus and off. We’ll keep adding new material as it becomes available.

Scholastic Learn At Home
Scholastic Watch & Learn
Right now Scholastic is allowing people to use ScienceFlix and BookFlix for free, but you have to get there by a specific path. Once you complete the steps, it recognizes the computer and you can use the direct link.
1. Visit their Resources for Families page:
https://classroommagazines.scholastic.com/support/learnathome/resources-for-families.html
2. Scrollto find the links for ScienceFlix and BookFlix.
3. ScienceFlix should come up. On the BookFlix page, you need to click “login” and it skips the login step and starts BookFlix.
We wish it was easier, but these are such neat sites we wanted you to have access to them!

Ms. Heidi’s Montessori app picks:
Unfortunately these are not free, but they are educational and engaging. Mobile Montessori, in particular, has really terrific apps that look just like the real classroom materials. Edoki is subscription-based, but contains a huge variety of activities my kids love, including Beginning Chinese. Montessorium is more basic. I like their cursive “sandpaper” letter app.
