Discover the Montessori Difference
EDUCATION FOR LIFE
We Teach Differently
Too often children are over-stimulated with bright colors and plastic toys. Made to wait or rushed to keep up with a schedule set by adults. But we believe children learn best when they’re allowed the freedom to follow their own interests and work at their own pace.

COVID-19 & Safety
We reopened our school this summer with enhanced cleaning and safety measures. With our on and off-campus programs and new onsite electrostatic sprayer approved by the CDC for use in schools to provide hospital-grade disinfection, we’re prepared to take on this year’s unique challenges. For more information, please visit our Health & Safety at CLMS page.

The Montessori Method
A little over a hundred years ago, Maria Montessori, Italy’s first female physician, developed her philosophy of education based on observing stages of child development. She pioneered a new method of education by inventing a series of “self-correcting” materials.
They might look like toys, but we call them works because each of these beautifully crafted materials has a specific purpose. These are like puzzles with only one solution that children discover for themselves by hands-on experimentation that’s as natural to them as playing. The role of the Montessori teacher is to guide the student in their exploration.
