Mr. Billy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. After graduating, Mr. Billy toured the country and traveled the world as a performer with Live On Stage, Inc. and Oceania Cruise Line, gigged seasonally as a backup singer/dancer for country superstar Pam Tillis, and performed at theme parks and regional theatres in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Kentucky. He returned to his hometown of Woodstock in 2016 and began directing and choreographing for local professional, community, and children's theatre groups.

Recent production credits include: The SpongeBob Musical (Director/Choreographer, WCST), RENT (Choreographer, Theatre 121), Peter & the Starcatcher, CLUE, & Head Over Heels (Director, Blue Streak Theatre), A Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens & Seussical (Director/Choreographer, RCSA), and many, many more.

Mr. Billy currently resides in Elgin with his fiance JD and serves as the Director for Blue Streak Theatre at Woodstock High School (his alma mater) and as a Vocal Instructor for The Vocal Academy in Crystal Lake. He is absolutely thrilled to join the incredible team at Crystal Lake Montessori School as the Music/Theatre Teacher. As an educator, Mr. Billy believes that the arts have incredible transformative power; teaching children compassion, patience, understanding, and how to be better humans for the world.
