Ms. Emily earned her B.A. in Communications with a minor in Psychology from St. Mary’s College in South Bend, IN. After college, she fell in love with Montessori and began her Lower Elementary Teaching certification in the Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center (MMTTC). This summer, she is returning to MMTTC to add her Upper Elementary Montessori teaching certification. Through training she's learned that possibilities and opportunities are abundant, so long as you are willing to learn from your mistakes, and she is looking forward to being a Lower & Upper Elementary Teacher this coming school year. 

Ms. Emily loves to learn and feels like she learns something new every day. She loves to read mystery, biographies/autobiographies, poetry, and ethnographies/ auto-ethnographies. She enjoys being outside (especially when it’s warm), going for walks, swimming/ floating, sitting in the grass, and walking barefoot. Her absolute favorite summer activity is waterskiing! Ms. Emily doesn't have any pets, but she loves animals. She is passionate about Maria Montessori and her teachings and she is excited that she gets to be a part of her legacy.
